Glob.AI Desktop

One app — Two ways of working

Glob.AI Desktop is Glob.AI's downloadable application for macOS and Windows. Beyond ordinary conversation, it gives direct access to two agentic modes built for very different kinds of work: Cowork, an autonomous agent for everyday knowledge work, and Code, an agentic programming environment. Both reach into your local files and browser through the app itself, so Glob.AI can act on what's actually on your machine rather than describing what you should do next.

macOS Windows

Cowork

State a goal. Glob.AI plans it, then reads and writes files and runs tasks on its own.

Code

Hand over a codebase. Glob.AI writes, runs, and tests code inside your project.

Module 01

Cowork

The agent for everyday knowledge work

Cowork turns Glob.AI from something you talk to into something you delegate to. Instead of asking a question, you describe an end goal — Glob.AI breaks it into steps, works through a connected folder of files, and reports back with finished output instead of instructions. Sessions can run in the background, pick up where they left off, and even repeat on a schedule.

Who it's for

  • Project Managers, Business Analysts & Marketing teams — tracking deliverables, building reports, turning data into stakeholder-ready documents.

  • Non-technical professionals — anyone comfortable giving plain-language instructions, not code.

  • Content & admin roles — writers, coordinators, and creators turning scattered source material into a finished draft.

What you can do with it

  • Turn a folder of receipt photos into a completed expense report.
  • Summarize scattered notes and PDFs into one clean report or slide deck.
  • Clean up and reorganize a messy folder or desktop by instruction.
  • Schedule a recurring task, like a daily inbox or news briefing waiting on your desktop each morning.

Runs in an isolated session on Glob.AI's servers; reaches local files and your browser through the desktop app when a task needs them.

Module 02

Code

Agentic programming, at the project level

Code is Glob.AI working as an engineer inside a real codebase — not a snippet in a chat window. It reads across a project, writes and edits code, runs shell commands and tests, and iterates on its own results before handing work back. It's built for the kind of multi-step, multi-file engineering work that a single answer can't capture.

Who it's for

  • Software engineers — working in an existing repository, not starting from a blank prompt.

  • Technical teams shipping software — where changes need to compile, pass tests, and fit existing architecture.

  • Anyone comfortable delegating a dev task — and reviewing a diff rather than writing every line.

What you can do with it

  • Build a feature end-to-end across the files it touches.
  • Debug a failing test or reported issue by tracing it through the codebase.
  • Refactor code consistently across many files at once.
  • Automate parts of the dev workflow, like running builds, tests, and lint checks.

Works directly against your project files and shell, running commands and checking its own output as it goes.

The point of one app with two engines: less switching, more finished work.

01

Work happens on your stuff

Both agentic modes act on your real local files, browser, or codebase — not a hypothetical example.

02

Delegation over dictation

Instead of asking Glob.AI how to do something, you ask it to just do it — and come back to review finished output.

03

Two kinds of work, two modules

General knowledge work and software engineering have different demands. Cowork and Code are each built around one of them.
